Shinglers is a band born from a serendipitous encounter in West Texas between Jeremy Brandelik and Colton Cerny, who discovered a mutual passion for classic country and “cosmic Americana” sounds, inspired by artists like Jerry Jeff Walker and Doug Sahm. Their connection led to forming the group in Austin with Kyle Harris, Mississippi Keith Young, and pedal steel player Zack Wiggs.

Quickly establishing themselves as a dynamic live act, Shinglers developed a unique style that blends their country roots with the free-spirited essence of old Austin. Their debut LP, Cosmic Range Oven (released April 13, 2021), showcases nine original tracks that have been lauded for their fully realized honky-tonk energy, drawing comparisons to groups like the Flying Burrito Brothers. They are considered a band country music enthusiasts should experience.
